Hello Leslie,
I have a lot of suggestions, but am pressed for time--so let me give you my
favorite... The library. Usually libraries have story time each week, and
many have a specific story time for parents and infants up to 2 or three
years old. Libraries also often have great areas for kids to play. I will
give you more suggestions later... If no one beats me to them!
Melissa

Subject: [blparent] getting out with your kids in the winter

Hi all. I was wondering, what are some ways you guys get out with your kids
in the winter? One of my favorite activities was going to the park in the
warmer weather but now, it's too cold for that. So I was wondering what
else can you do? Take walking around the mall, for example. I'd like to get
perspectives on who's done this with or witht sighted assistance. Another
question is what are some ways to connect with other moms? What about
transportation if ou don't live in an area that has decent public
transportation? What are some of the ways you've gone about getting rides?
I look forward to hearing many suggestions as always. Thanks.

Leslie
