[blparent] blparent Digest, Vol 79, Issue 24

Well, to add to the discussion of what Santa left: Abigail, who's
almost 14 months old now, got a few animal puzzles, a funny toy hippo
and a sweet little hand-sewn doll; a set of knitted gloves, hat,
sweater-vest and overcoat; and an enormous piggy-bank. She already has
two other piggy-banks! And she hasn't gone to visit my parents yet;
she's their only grandchild. Interestingly enough, she's still at that
very young stage where she's more interested in the box and wrapping
paper that things came in. Well, one thing she particularly does love
is a stuffed animal, a big dog wearing a reindeer costume with antlers
that have little lights on them. When she touches the dog in a
particular way, it lights up and dances while singing: "I'm getting
nothing for Christmas!" A friend of ours won that toy at work and
thought Abigail would like it. She likes to carry it around and talk
to it, which is beyond adorable.
