So cool! If I were you, I'd call the Independence market at NFB and tell
them about the crayons and the catalog. Or go to NFB.org and find the link
for email.

Subject: [blparent] Talking Crayons

Hi. Sarah got a set of the talking crayons that were discussed on this
list. She found them in her Christmas stocking. When you put a crayon into
the module, Dora the Explorer tells the color in English and Spanish, spells
it, and also names some things that are the color in question. The only
thing is, there's no braille on the crayons, which the NFB catalog said
there would be. I don't know where to send comments or suggestions about
the catalog, but the description should probably be changed. Still, Sarah
found lots of great stuff in her stocking--Elmo bubble bath and soap paints
for the tub, a chocolate penguin, a candy cane, and a kaleidoscope. We had
a great time on Christmas morning. At two, Sarah was just getting the idea
about Santa Claus--actually, she was worried that my guide dog would bark at
him if he tried to come into our house in the night.
