[blparent] latching on?

Speaking of the walking dead, so I wouldn't feel too much like that, my
husband would get up early in the morning and change her, then bring her to
me. Or I would then go to her. Leslie, do you have to use formula,
couldn't you pump and use that milk in the bottles? v

Yes, I've been making an effort to pump regularly. It's a lot to handle
between nursing, pumping, and preparing the bottles and it gets overwhelming
at times. The important thing is that he gets the milk down him. Today is
actually the first time I haven't felt like the walking dead.

Just remember to pump if you give him a bottle so your body gets the message
to produce the milk you'll need. Of course, then you can feed the baby your
milk in the bottle which is an added bonus!

Hi,

Also, don't worry if you feel you have to give him a bottle once in awhile.
Getting him fed is more important right now, and feeding him from a bottle
if you have to will very rarely result in nipple confusion, and don't listen

to anybody who says it will. Most important thing about breast feeding is
to relax and be calm, and if you need to, get some help from whatever your
department of public health is called where you live.
