Something to consider, you never know what kind of relationship that little
girl has with her dad, when she's not even willing to try and persuade him.
He sounds more than a bit controlling, and judging from her comment that
when he says no, that's that, this seems to show up in a lot of other
situations.

It just makes me so mad when someone won't even hear me out.  In this case,
the little girl wouldn't even point at her dad so Gab could point me in the
right direction.  Oh well.  We went by the park this evening on our mile
walk, but that family wasn't there.  Oh well, I was hoping that if the dad
saw me walking the neighborhood, he'd have a better opinion of blind people.

Hi,

This is exactly what I thought as I read Veronica's message.  Some people 
just don't think about the longterm effects their snap decisions will have. 
He could have at least come over and talked to you first.
