Thanks Sharon.  Yes, Michael and I were totally alone in the house when it
happened and I was just so relieved and proud all at the same time.  He
didn't latch on this morning and I had to bottle feed him but there's always
next time.  I suspect he'll be pretty inconsistent until he gets in some
practice but that's okay.  I have to remember that everything takes time and
patience.  Michael is certainly teaching me that.
