Diane, if I were you, I'd contact your public library and see what kind of
programs they have for 14 month olds.  I used to take Gab there for mommy
and me reading.  They would read a story and do hand puppet games.  Anyway,
it's a start.  You might also contact the YMCA and see what kind of programs
they have for little ones.  I just don't think that daycare is a good choice
at this time unless you have to! Daycare workers have several children to
take care of as do pre-schools, so your child will not get that special one
on one education.  Really, look for the mom groups and like I said, the
public library will probably be able to point you in the right direction.

I live in co.  I have not heard of anything.  I have tried posting adds for 
play mates.  When it is learning I am blind that goes by the wase side.  She

does not watch a lot of TV, but she does watch some sprout and some shows on

nick jr that are geared for kids.
