I very much welcome all of the appreciative comments people have made 
regarding this list, plus the constructive criticisms about improving our 
posts.  In my consternation over what was going on yesterday I failed to 
comment on an extremely important issue - foul language!  It should go 
without saying that foul language or the suggestion of foul language via 
initials are totally unacceptable, but clearly it does need to be said. 
Please remember that this is a public forum.  People from all over the U.S. 
and Canada as well as other countries use this list as a resource.  All of 
our past messages are available in a public archive and can be searched by 
anyone, so whatever we say here goes down in history.  We owe it to 
ourselves and to each other to use language that is respectful at all times, 
no matter how passionate we feel about a topic.  The Twenty-four Hour Policy 
is a good rule to follow: if a message really makes you angry, write a 
response and save it in your Drafts Folder for at least twenty-four hours. 
Reread it when you've had time to cool down and then decide if you still 
want to send it.  It's amazing what a difference a day makes!
