[blparent] blparent Digest, Vol 77, Issue 1

Sharon,
Why are you glad to know it worked "okay" for Abby?
I ask because I'm someone that couldn't do the dog baby thing. A dog
didn't work for me once I became a mom. Is that somehow not okay in your
book and why? I reached my decision soundly and while it wasn't what I
expected, it wasn't a bad outcome, nor was it a bad path to get there.
I ask the question because "okay" is a value judgement, implying that if
someone chooses not to use a dog or continue use of a dog, something is
wrong. I don't feel that way, and am curious if you do, or if I'm not
understanding your message?

Jen, we had a lot of discussion on this list some months ago about a new

baby and relatively new dog which is what yours may have been when
Abigail
was born. I'm glad to know it worked OK for you.
