[blparent] EXTERNAL:Re: hello i have some questions!

I think the only babies that demand warm milk all the time are the ones
that are nursed as the milk they receive is always 98.6 degrees. When you
give them anything but that, they complain. Gab would not drink from a
bottle no matter what. When I went out without her and my husband tried to
give her a bottle, she'd spend the whole time crying until I got home. v

for being out and about, I would really recommend ready to drink formula.
you just open the can or bottle, pour, and go. it also starts out at room
temperature, instead of being at fridge temperature. the other thing I like
about it is that there is no mixing or measuring required. e.g., you know
the can is 8 ounces, etc.

if your baby is still very sensitive about having warm milk, you can bring a

thermus of water, or order a cup of hot water at a restaurant, and warm the
bottle that way. a lot of kids don't really care, though. my daughter was
very particular for the first couple of months, but as she grew, she cared
less and less about the temperature of her milk. in fact, now she won't
drink warm milk, even when she's sick. she only likes it room temp or
colder.
