Rhonda, why do you want to take the wax out. It is a protective coating for
the ear drum? V

We have been taking him, because each time, he had puss coming out of both
ears.
1 Dr. said there was nothing wrong, so, we went for a 2nd opinion... the
Next Dr said the same thing, it got frustrating! ... so we took him to a DR
2 hours away from our home town ... they said he had WAX in His Ears, but
they couldn't clean it!
It seemed odd to me, so we scheduled an apt with a E.N.T! ...
They flushed both ears out ... 2 hours later, and discovered a really thick
ear drum! ... also a funny looking ear drum! ...
Hs ear drums were both swollen! ... red, and irritated looking! ...
Come to find out, he had a double in both ears, and if we would have
waited... and kept with the recent DR.S visits... My baby would have death!
He put him on DROPS! For ten days, and we will bring him to make sure his
ears have cleared! ...
They also did a hearing test ... "THaNK GOD everything came back normal!"
...
They will also do ear x-rays at our next apt.
All they told us, is to was the outer parramiters of the ear... which
doesn't explain how to clean the wax out! ...
I was also told not to use Paroxide! ... no particular reason they gave! ...
the ENT Just said NO! ...
There is a clinic in my home town, that will professionally clean ears out
for little to no cost ... even though cost doesn't matter... this is my
Child, so I'd do/pay anything! ...

I'm just GLAD to finally have an answer! ...

Peroxide will get the gunk out. It will bubble and feel like bubble
bath. Wrap a towel around his eyes because if some accidentally drips
down and gets into his eyes, it will sting like the dickens.
Did you get the wax flushed out? The doctor should be able to do this.
I'd go back, ask them to flush it out and then see what is needed.
Speaking for myself, I had a *huge*chunk of wax in my ear awhile back.
My regular doctor not an ENT, just a gerenic doctor flushed it out. Felt
wonderful and I did not have to do anything else with it.
Finally, did your peditritian tell you there was a wax build-up? Wax
buildup does not equal ear infection. If you were not told of the wax
buildup, I'd suggest you need another peditritian. Saying that, wax can
build up very quickly. I'm curious to know why you kept taking him to
the doctor with no resultion for so long?

Hi guys, Today, we found out after 2 months of taking Corban to the DR.
and
each time, being told he didn't have an ear infection! .

Well, today, we took him to a E.N.T and he had a double in both ears,
with
enough Wax to rebuild The World Trade Center! .

He fights me putting Ear Drops In. I'm afraid to do it, don't want to
puncture anything!...

Also, what do you clean there little ears with?

Many Dr.s told me to wipe around the outside with a wet towel. and that
doesn't clean the inside! .
