When Gab was a baby, the pharmacist gave me a tiny dropper that only held
about 1/4 teaspoon. You should ask for that. Another way to measure meds
is to get a plastic syringe, also sold at the pharmacy and pull it up to
the amount you would want, like persay 1/4 teaspoon, then take a serated
knife and cut a groove right there. Then each time you want to give your
baby that amount of whatever, you can feel that groove. V

Subject: [blparent] Administering Medication

Everyone:
I am trying to figure out the best way to administer medication to my
infant. I am giving him gas drops placed into his formula and I need to
determine how much I am putting in the bottle. I could also put it directly
in his mouth but do not want to give too much since the dropper is not
supposed to be filled completely.
I have sighted help, but I would love to do it on my own since sighted help
is not always around.
Thanks
Janel
