I never liked the diapers from costco, but absolutely loved the whippies.

As far as diapers go, I would recommend only buying a package or two of any 
one brand till you find the one that's right for your baby.  My daughter is 
three years old now, and she's always done great with Kirkland diapers, 
which are cheaper than Pampers and Huggies and all those premium brands, but

some babies don't do well with them at all.

Same goes for bottles.  I did a combination of nursing and formula feeding, 
but we had what we called the bottle graveyard on the counter, from all the 
bottles that didn't work out.  Dr. Brown's bottles finally did work the 
best, but we didn't discover that for months.  It's all in what shape will 
get more formula and less air into your baby, which depends on your baby.
