[blparent] Carriers?

Hey LM,
Which Beco are you speaking of? I ask because I have the Butterfly II, and
it does not carry on the side as far as I know. I have used it both front
and back though and I absolutely love it. I still carry Kaelyn in it and
she's 3 and weighs 35 lbs. I used it when I flew alone with her when she
was around 2 years old, and we had a long way to go on the train from the
airport to the hotel. I put the hood on it while I was wearing it on the
front, and I could let her recline in it and take a nap on the train, and I
sat comfortably without her putting strain on my back. The ride was almost
an hour long. I was impressed that I could still let her sleep in a carrier
at 2 years old. I probably looked pretty funny with her on my front, a
backpack diaper bag on my back and pulling a rolly suitcase. :-) But ya
gotta do what ya gotta do.
I also had a wrap when Kaelyn was small but it was the Ultimate Wrap from
BRU. I loved carrying her in that, and I could even nurse her in it and
keep my hands free to do other things. With 2 other kids that helped a lot.
Leanne
