[blparent] knitting blankets for baby

I tried to learn, but I was hopeless as the day is long. Knitting is
getting to be kind of a lost art. Gerald's mother was just talking about
that the other day, how she's run the crafters group in her church for more
than twenty years, but it's declined as the members get older and fewer and
fewer younger women start to learn. I guess no one really has time, so I
think it's great that some people can still do it. Sarah received four
knitted blankets as baby gifts, and I've tried to keep them as nice and new
as possible so that she can enjoy them when she's older, because all of them
came from special friends of mine. Oh, she also got one of those fleece tie
blankets made by the kids in our church, which I haven't even taken out for
her yet because it's a full-sized one.
