[blparent] baby's first birthday

My daughter didn't really "get" the concept of birthdays until just after she turned two. By 2.5 she figured out that everybody had a birthday and by three, she was really into it. So cool!

Wow you guys sure do a lot more than I did, I figure the lo doesn't know
he's one yet so we just had our family, let him open a few presents, play
with toys, and let him eat cake, which he didn't like all over his hands,
kept trying to fling the frosting off!! Maybe next year when he's 2 we'll
make it a little more special.

O'm doing the "hang out and talk" thing this time around since Zach and his
friends are still a bit too young for games. I am taking a baby pool and
filling it with balls they use in ball pits (available at Walmart for
cheap).
I really like your memory box idea and just might steal that :-)
