I did check with my son Kevin, and he said all one needs is a door security 
alarm. It has a simple sensor attached to the door. When it becomes 
separated from the door, it makes a sound. He said you don't need anything 
fancy; of course, he also said "There are lots of other ways to get out of 
the house!" I told him we weren't going to talk about that! :) The things 
you find out your kids did once they get older!
