Wow, I didn't know there were so many companies and resources out there for 
making board books.  I've bought the clear adhesive sheets before, had my 
stepson read the simple text on the pages of picture books, made labels, cut 
them out, and stuck them in place.  It's a worthwhile project to teach a 
teenager about how to make a print book accessible in braille, but it's 
time-consuming, so although we had great ambitions to do a lot of books, I 
think we only finished two or three.  Eventually, I just found it more time- 
and cost-effective to order from Seedlings, which produces books for all 
ages at reasonable prices.  There are probably over a hundred books there to 
choose from, many of them popular titles for small children.  Still, the 
sheets would work well for doing a few custom books about your unique 
family.  Just a note of caution if you use the adhesive sheets--be very sure 
you have the braille label in the right place before you peel the back off 
and press it on, because once stuck, it isn't going to come off the page! 
If you make a mistake, you can braille a new label, cut it to size, and 
stick it right over the old one.
