[blparent] baby mobility

Assume you can see nothing and go from there.
Seriously, even if you have some vision, you can't use it at all times. Nobody can.
Also, you have three prongs you need to hit, being aware of what the kid has, getting to your child, and getting to your child ina timely fashion.
You can do none of this if you are say, in the shower.

As for other places, that depends on where you're going and if you trust whoever may be around you to give you accurate feedback. Remember just because you like someone doesn't mean their feedback is accurate.
Also, know that you can always get down on the floor and be right behind your child if need be. It's exausting but you can do this.

I assume you know that chords are a strangulation hazzard and certain furniture can tip ina real bad way. If this is news to you, ping the list and we'll help.

I know about baby proofing and I am doing that. I'm worried about him
getting things that I can't see. He has already put little rocks in his
mouth at the swimming pool (which I found when I heard them clicking against
his teeth). I am also worried about when I take him to places away from
hom. I can baby proof forever, but what about other places?
