Hi,
I use a vacuum if there is no liquids involved. I have also used a broom
for the bigger pieces of glass. In the case of a baby food jar, I would use
a damp cloth and gentley crouch and carefully wipe the surface where it
fell. The slivers of glass usually stick to the cloth, like a dish towel
from the kitchen. I always have someone sighted to look it over before
allowing the kids in the area without shoes.

Subject: [blparent] cleaning up broken glass
Hi all. I was just about to prepare Michael's lunch when the baby food jar I
was holding slipped out of my hand and shattered on the kitchen floor. I'm
wondering if anyone has any tips on how to safely clean up broken glass when
you can't see it. Luckily, my husband's working from home today so he was
able to help. But what to do if this were to happen when I'm by myself?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Leslie
