Personally, I would first sweep everything I can into a corner and then with
my hand gingerly pick up the larger pieces and throw them away. Then I get
the dust pan brush and sweep the smaller pieces onto the dust pan. Then I
sweep the whole kitch again, putting everything I find into that same
corner. Then I gingerly feel the area again, do the dust pan thing again
and thenfinely when I am satisfied I get a wet paper towel and wipe the
area. V

Subject: [blparent] cleaning up broken glass

Hi all. I was just about to prepare Michael's lunch when the baby food jar I
was holding slipped out of my hand and shattered on the kitchen floor. I'm
wondering if anyone has any tips on how to safely clean up broken glass when
you can't see it. Luckily, my husband's working from home today so he was
able to help. But what to do if this were to happen when I'm by myself?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Leslie
