[blparent] cleaning up broken glass

I also use a wet kitchen towel and the vacuum to pick up the mess but, I 
have found that the tiniest shards fly farther than I anticipate so I give 
the entire kitchen a good old fashion hands and knees mopping giving the 
baseboards special care.  This is also helpful with broken ceramics.
