[blparent] New Here With Questions

Hi Leanne. I've used the powdered formula with 1 scoop for every 2 ounces.
If it's one ounce, you just use half a scoop. I usually try to take my 2
index fingers, put one at the top and one at the bottom of the scoop, and
slide them toward each other till they meet. That way, I can gague where the
halfway point is. As Sharon Howerton as told me, you learn to use your
hands in all sorts of ways.
Leslie

Melissa, That's a great idea.
I have a question about mixing odd numbers of ounces, just because I'm
curious. I only had one formula-fed baby, and if I remember right, the
powdered formula came with a scoop that was the right size for 1 scoop of
powder to every 2 oz of water. How would you then change that to an odd
number of ounces? All the babies I sit for come with the little dispensers
that you just dump into the bottle so I haven't scooped powdered formula for
many years. Or do most of you use the liquid?
Thanks,
Leanne
