Yeah, my oldest brother moved to Maryland when I was quite young, but now in
the later years, he moved back to Albuquerque and we have become great
friends. v

My dad came from a family of seventeen and said it was like having two
families. He was eighteen when the youngest was born and he was somewhere in
the older group. He didn't know the younger ones well because he was already
out of the home.

Too funny! I hope you are as excited! I know I would, although lots of
mom's who have older kids, get pretty angry for the new arrival. My mom had
5 of us and the middle daughter died when she was 5. I never knew her nor
did my brother Jim, but it always looked like my mom had 2 families, she had
her first 2 which were 13 and 18 years older than me. She'd always
introduce us as her older kids and her younger kids. Too funny!

Hi V,
Well, my oldest, (Daughter 22) is excited. She will bring over dinners
and such. We must make sure you have enough folic acid and hey, you
need lots of vegetables... ... etc.
Besides, sometimes she cooks which helps me out because sometimes i am
just drained!!!!

My younger three are boys and they are now on their own.
they kind of feel like i am going through a midlife crisis and want to
be younger, again.
that is not the case.
But, then again, they are not with me consistently, so they are not
seeing the pregnancy changes.
They are not necessarily excited, but will come to terms with the baby.
It is funny, no one wants to be excited, but they sure want to decide
the gender. (Smile)
My 18yo is already moved out for college.
But, i don't think that it has really 'hit home' for them yet because
they are kind of removed from the situation.
