Wow, it's 2011 and we still have so far to go in certain parts of the world.
Does it matter at all if you go through certain agencies or is this the case
for any agency folks go through to adopt?

I know a blind couple in Chicago who adopted a blind child about six months
ago.  It's my understanding that blind parents are not allowed to adopt
sighted children from China anymore, but adopting blind children is still
considered okay.
