I experience extreme sinus problems. I get sinus pressure and headaches
that can lead to migraines. The constant drainage also can cause nausea
on some days. The change in seasons is probably the worse time of year
for me. The real fun days are when I have migraines from sinus headaches
as well as too much sensitivity to light. On these days, I tend to wear
my sunglasses all day even at home, keep as many lights off as possible
and avoid sunlight like the plague. I take Allegra for my allergies, but
because of my tachycardia, elevated heart rate, I'm not suppose to have
sudafed, which is what helps with congestion and sinus pressure, though
I will take it as needed if things bother me enough. I've experienced
vomiting from this at times. I can get flu-like symptoms at times just
from my sinuses. I have an extremely high tolerance for pain so usually
I can handle it, but the older I get, the worse it seems to get. Many of
my family members have similar issues with their sinuses. My doctor is
aware of this, but I need to se a specialist because nothing ever gets
done about my extreme symptoms. Ginger ale helps with the nausea plus I
just enjoy it from time to time. Since I'm also a type 1 diabetic, we
buy the diet. We like the Canada Dry brand.
