except she never was a stay-at-home mom. She concieved her son with IVF which is fine, but which also means she had resources far beyond what a lot of people had. She was in radio for years before her son was born, meaning that she could do her show when he was in school or when dad was home. She says that they never used any kind of childcare, but she was no more a stay at home mom then I am.
I do like some of her advice on her show, and I do like how she can get a caller to think. I do find her perspective to be useful and interesting. Still, her deal that women should stay home really ticks me off, especially since she did not do this. If she had, I'd have more respect for her position and I'd listen to what she has to say.

I finished reading Dr. Laura Schlessinger's book, "In Praise Of Stay-at-Home Moms." It's available through Digital Talking Book. What I would like to know is, for yourself and your children, the good, the bad, and the wonderful. It's almost Christmastime, so let's put smiles on our faces on this topic, please.
