[blparent] Surgery

Eric is a "silly boy" in the words of my daughter. He lacks the experience to know that what he is suggesting is just plain a bad idea given that he isn't a parent and if he ever did have surgery, he probably had somebody to take care of him afterword. As silly as guys can be at times, they seem to be far better at getting help then women are or so is my observation.

Hi,

Wow, seriously? She just said she is doing the bare minimum, and having a
hard time doing that and you're recommending they get a dog? Maybe this
would b a very good idea after the operation, but not sure it would be the
best thing to do right now. Poodles are nice though, if I were to get a
dog, that's definitely what I'd get. Poodles are really good with kids, and
my son's been bugging me to get a dog for probably 2 years now.

Shannan, what Canadian province are you n? I know that in Alberta,
sometimes there are very long lines to get eye surgery, or any other kind
of surgery. I could recommend that the both of you get a dog, such as a
German shepherd or Labrador. A small dog, a poodle, (I recommend the
French poodle or standard poodle), might be best. Remember, if you and/or
your son each have playful personalities, dogs can and will accommodate
you. That will, temporarily, take your mind off surgery.
