I got mine at ILA but it is not an ear one, my pediatrician said that one of
the best for babies is put it directly in the arm pit. Just as good as in
the rectum.

Subject: [blparent] talking thermometers?

    Hi everyone,

I know there are talking oral/axillary thermometers, but for an infant, of
course, the most accurate method is up the bottom. Are there any talking
rectal thermometers out there, and if so, where can they be found? If not,
is it ok to use an ear thermometer, and if so, do talking ones exist, and
where can they be found?
Thanks for any help you can give. We're going to start stocking up on things
we'll need.
