[blparent] talking thermometers?

You are welcome, and if you use a regular thermometer rectally you subtract
a degree. You will learn that if your child has a fever, you will be able
to tell by touch. However, a thermometer does come in handy when you want
to know exactly how high the temp is. And if you're not sure by touch,
touch your lips to your child's forhead, you will know then ... don't know
why that works sometimes better than touching but it does, also suggested by
my sister who's a nurse, she only does it on her kids and not her patients
though, thank goodness, lol.

I have a talking thermometer and I use it under the arm with Kahlan. I
didn't know about adding a degree though. Thanks peggy.

The one time I thought she had a fever she didn't, thank goodness.
