I suppose those peeps who live close enough to drive there. Here at state
convention, peeps do bring ice chests along with yogurts, cheese, etc.

Melissa, how does one bring hard boiled eggs? Don't you think they'd
start going bad in the suitcase, let alone start smelling? I heard you can't
bring homemade food on the plane. The airport will take it from you.

Is there a microwave now? If so, that is great, as there never was one
before. Sometimes you could get a refridgerator, but I believe they cost an
arm and a leg in Dallas. We usually get fruit cups, granola bars, bananas,
crackers, and sometimes chips and cookies. We have sometimes gotten a
disposable cooler and filled it with ice for sandwich meat, grapes, etc.
We've also gotten peanut butter and jelly and bread for sandwiches. We've
found it really helpful to be able to eat at least some meals in the room,
or on the go. You can even get packages of oatmeal and make them with water
you heat in the coffee maker. I know friends of ours who have brought hard
boiled eggs with them to convention, and also string cheese.

Hello, I'm sure we have discussed this before and if I looked really hard in
the archives, I could find it, but could you all chime in and tell me what
kind of snacks you find beneficial in a hotel room.
I know there is a microwave, but that is all.
