[blparent] inflatable tub bumpers

Just so you know vinegar doesn't kill bacteria but I do love using it in
cleaning.  I use something with actual cleaner in it for killing the germs,
especially in the bathroom and kitchen.  Also, just so you know these
bumpers do not advertise at all being a safe measure so someone could leave
a child in the tub so I'm not sure where this topic is coming from because
no one in their right mind would ever leave a toddler in the tub.  When I
have the time I enjoy getting into the bath with my son and I just sit
behind him and provide support.  It's a fun interactive time for us as well.
When I give him a bath on his own I like to fill up a pitcher of water ahead
of time so I don't have to turn the water on if I can help it because that's
a little scary to him right now.

I think it may depend on the individual situation. If the child has a
balance issue, then the bumpers may come Dawson doesn't have any balance
problems but you know how a little toddler can feel like a tiny fish in a
big pond at first when getting used to the tub.  I fill up a in handy if he
or she sways or falls and whomps the tub with a body part. That being said,
a little vinegar in the wash should kill most, if not all, of the bacteria,
mould etc that might grow on them. And I think you can find a small
hand-pump for inflating them, and keeping them folded and in a dry spot i.e
a cabinet, basket, etc, would make them easier to manage.
If our child has balance problems,  I wouldn't have a problem with getting
something for him or her as a precaution. However, as stated, these things
aren't a substitute for keeping an eye on your little one and not leaving
them alone in the tub. Either make absolutely sure you have everything on
hand, or ask your spouse to go get whatever you forgot.
