Drinking lots of water also makes your skin more elastic and less likely to
tear when delivering your baby. :)

Water will not affect glucose levels at all either negatively or positively,
but it does keep the body hydrated which is helpful over-all. I naturally
drink water more than any other liquid, and since becoming pregnant, I have
become part fish as I drink water even if not thirsty since it's good to not
only maintain hydration but it helps flush things through your system. I
have heard it's good to drink water while nursing so plan to keep some on
hand for this purpose near where I plan to feed baby.

Sincerely,

Hi,

I tried to remember to drink something just before feeding and just after,
and I find that plain water is the best ting to drink as in most cases when
hydration is an issue.
