Bridgit,

I just made the time to read this and I wanted to let you know that I
appreciated it. It is a sensitive subject and you handled it very well. It
is so important that the general public learns to accept blindness as a
regular part of life and not a tragedy that puts children in danger. The
goal should be that we are never reported to child protection authorities to
begin with for just being normal loving parents. Our children should not
have to be prisoners in our own homes just to keep people from deciding they
are endangered by having a blind parent.
