[blparent] looking for very powerful vacuum any recommendations?

I know I am coming to this thread late, and the OP has purchased a vacuum,
but one brand I can recommend for anyone looking for one is Lindhaus.

No I am not affiliated with the company in anyway, and yes they are kind of
pricy, but it is a great vacuum.

But on hard wood floors, for general cleaning, I just use a wide microfiber
mop. Works great, much better than a broom.
