When I use to do that with my infent. I use to either keep them in a carrier on my chest or when they grow to totler size put them in the front of the cart. when I get shopping assistance I usually hold on to the front of the cart, where the baby sits and the hanndle is at and the shopper pulls and helps me find the items I list. seems to go very smooth and easy.
