[blparent] food shopping with a baby in arms

You're right, Sheila. Toddlers want everything. *Smile.*

We've made a rule for Sarah that she can pick out one thing each time we go
to the store. Sometimes it's fruit snacks, sometimes it's M&M's, sometimes
it's drinkable yogurt or Jell-O cups. If she finds a second thing she
wants, she has to decide which thing she'd like better.

She earned a dollar the other day helping Dad at his watch store. She
decided she wanted to spend it riding a kiddie truck in front of K-Mart. We
got pictures. She was really cute.

died in cotton fields and sweatshops.--Stephen Jay Gould

Rebecca your right, shopping with a baby is a piece of cake. Toddlers are
much more work.
