The more a child gets, the less grateful they are.  They just expect it and they get it.  Gab used to be that way until she started getting less an dless and then when she did get it, it became a big deal.
Just saying, you should be grateful, just doesn't cut it.

How would you teach a 7 year old how to be grateful for what they have or what’s given to them?

Does just saying no to everything, of course with a reason, work? 
I’m tired of the whining and complaining because the child isn’t grateful.
