Yes, I know. It's sad. Having said that I know many asians who
is totally well behaved and polite. But many of those left japan
due to the rigidness of it.

Depression,
anxiety, etc, are disorders about which no one has a choice. But
in a
family like the one portrayed in the article, I would think
psychological
problems would be inevitable, even if they were kept hidden.

choice to
have depression or anxiety etc... some times, it's not a
choice, it's a
disorder.
