[blparent] bed rail

We just have our mattress on the floor with no box spring.  The floor works
as a great box spring and this way the bed is only 4 or 5 inches off the
ground.

Did you do matress and box springs ont eh floor or jsut matress? we took our
bed frame out yesterday to just hving matress and box springs. its about
probably 16 inches high now.
