[blparent] Something scary

That's terrible. I just can't believe all the things parents have to
consider these days. In Omaha, a young man has been following grammar
school and junior high school buses, and when children step off the bus,
he's trying to entice them into his truck by saying he has candy. All
the kids approached have told him no and didn't go near him, and they
all describe him as a teen, which is so sad. It probably means someone
at some point in time did something terrible to him. I assume he
approaches him after the bus takes off since the news anchors didn't
mention anything about the drivers, and no suspects have been arrested
at this point. It makes one consider the whole perspective of why
Rapunzel was locked in a tower; not a bad idea these days.

Sincerely,

In our community, not necessarily from our school, a girl was taken at
gun
point on Wednesday. They said she got off her bus and started walking
home
when a man in a car drove up to her and asked for directions. She
walked
toward the car to answer him and he pulled a gun, told her to get in the
car. The news said he raped her and then took her into Albuquerque and
let
her go.
My daughter walks home and I tell her a thousand times, don't talk to
strangers, never go to a car and always stay in a group. Never walk by
yourself and if that is going to happen, call me and we will pick you
up.
The girl was 13.
