[blparent] House rules

Miranda, one of the big rules on which I insisted when my sons were old
enough to bring their friends in was that they had to tell me who was coming
in and that child had to speak to me. One of their friends thought he was
being cute and tried to sneak in on me so I kicked him out. That did not
happen again so far as I know and to this day, the same rules are followed.
Since all of us are adults like my son Kevin has said, I let them know if I
know someone is coming to see me; to me particularly since Brendan really
doesn't have an actual bedroom, it is our living room that is his room, it
is a part of the mutual respect that we have.
