Nope, I live in NE. this is new for this troop, but other troops have been
doing it a while. They say they sell more because the cookies are on hand to
sell. I think they sell more because people over estimate what they are
going to sell and the parents have to end up buying them. Back in December
we had to place our order for cookies, and they strongly encouraged everyone
to order in full cases.

Oh, how interesting.  The way they sell cookies here is we take orders for 2
weeks, then turn them in and at the end of Feb we get our orders and start
delivering.  Do you live in CA, I believe they do it that way as well.

The daisies around here do. Want some cookies, I got several cases in my
garage now. My daughter is 5, so she is definitely a daisy.

True, when  they are Daisies.  Infact, Daisies do not do fund raising. No
cookie or candy sales, just the fun stuff.
Brownies, Juniors and Cadets do it all.  They do fund raisers, and in some
troops, they even get to go places and earn fun badges or patches.

Not leaders yet, but my wife and I, more my wife, are taking over the
Daisies at least in our area. The current leaders only focus on fund
raising, and nothing else. There is more to Girl Scouts than that.

I only wish my daughter had stayed in Girl Scouts long enough for me to
become a leader, she didn't like it and wasn't in very long.  Now my son, he
loves Boy Scouts and I don't understand all of that, lol.
