I play Wii with my son all the time. He is 18 months and we have a ball with
Wii Golf and Wii Bowling. This weekend I'll be taking him to the bowling
alley so he can experience the real thing for a bit.
It's kind of weird that he experienced a virtual bowling alley before a
real one.
That's the world we live in.

most games out today are just updated versions of the games I use to play so
I got the visual concpet down of what game intels and I use that to my
advantage when playing game systems with my 11 year old daughter. to her she
really doesn't care if I am driving the race car off the road, or a make
mario fall in to a pit. she'll even tell me when to jump or which way to
turn in order to minimize my chances of losing a life or points in the game.
I think you should try any game with him and I'm sure you'll see the time
you spend with him is more valuable to him than you actually being able to
acomplish tasks on the game or not. at least that is the feeling I got from
my daughter.

awhile and haven't said much. My name is Jolynn and I am from Washington
and am married to a Navy sailor. I have a 7 year old step son who loves to
play video games. My question is do any of your kids have a nintendo wii
system and are there any games that you as blind parents can play with your
kids with any or little help at all. My son has been asking to play video
games with me but I am not sure what games if any there are out there for a
blind person to play with a young child. Thanks for any help.
