doing the roots is the hardest, I must admit. My friend bkleached my hair, 
so it looked itentical to hers, a pale honey blond, then gave me red 
highlights. it was really  gorgeous, but unfortunately didn't last forever, 
so  over a year later I had the dyed parts cut off and the rest grew out, 
then one more trim and it was fixed. Now it's the original deep brown with 
burgundy highlights.
