If you want hands on experience ask at your local church and see if they
have a daycare you can help out in.  Maybe some of your friends have babies
and they will let you get some practice changing them or feeding them.
Other than that, use your common senses and do the best you can.

Hi,
Does anyone know if there are any places for hands on training before the
baby is born, like workshops classes etc. in the hospital I am going to see
my doctor, they have labor classes but they are all vedios.
Not sure what to expect once the baby is here because I almost have no
experience. my sister in law shared alot of details about labor but if
anyone have any other suggestions or advise of what to do and what to expect
please let me know. I am told I may have complecation due to plesenta not
working well.
