Hello:

I am totally blind so if we want to go somewhere, my wife Laurie has to do the driving. We have taken a couple of cruises. Cruise ships have lots of fun activities. Cruise lines can also recommend reliable tours at various ports of call. You might also want to post to the NFB's travel list.

Regards,

Robert

Subject: [blparent] FAMILY VACATION

Greetings to all,

I would like some imput on the subject of a family vacation. I'm visually impaired and my boyfriend is totally blind. Our son is 8 years old and completely sighted. We are trying to figure out what to do for a family vacation. We live in Northern California. We need to pick somewhere that has good transportation or that we can walk to. So if anyone has any ideas, I'll welcome them. Thanks so much.

Kim
