Hi, actually we had more problems with the school system than we did with our doctor. We did do all of the testing and did testing independent of the test done by the school. It was worth it for us to have separate results if necessary. Our son had learning disabilities and was considered borderline adhd. Our pediatrician didn't want to put him on meds but wanted us to deal with the learning disabilities and see if that helped and it seemed to help. Mark also had ear infections which resulted in thirty percent hearing loss and because of that the school had to back off until any health issues were resolved.
