[blparent] labeling baby food jars?

Hi, Sabrina. I found it way too labor-intensive and time-consuming to label
my baby food jars. Since there were a limited amount of foods, especially
starting out when it was all plain fruits and veggies, I just separated the
jars into two groups, fruit and vegetables. That way, I could serve one
from each group in a given day. As the foods got more complex, I took a
flat box like the one you get sodas in, and lined up the food in rows, then
just labeled the front of the box. That way I knew that squash and rice was
behind the SQR label. It wasn't foolproof--now and then I opened something
unexpected--but Sarah didn't seem to care. She didn't like a lot of the
foods with meat added anyway, so as the choices of what she could eat got
more rounded out, I didn't use the baby food as much anymore. I hope this
helps and that the explanation makes sense. I'm having a migraine right
now, which makes it hard to think straight.

Good luck!
Jo Elizabeth
