Hi Jan,

It just depends upon the baby. We had to do a lot of trial and error 
with my almost seven month old daughter with the bottles and nipples. 
And, we finally all settled on the Playtex bottles with the slow flow 
nipples. I said we because my daughter is currently in foster care in 
the state of New Hampshire. So. we are having to deali with the foster 
family as well.
